Kawaikoi Stream Trail / Koke’e State Park

This trail is one of the nicest river/stream hikes that we have ever done. The weather was perfect so the 4WD dirt road to the trail head was not a problem that day.

The trail starts with a short walk through a forest with beautiful tall cedar trees before you walk besides the Kawaikoi Stream. The sides of the trail are covered in beautiful moss, wild ginger and flowers.

Unfortunately, the water of the stream was quiet high so that we could not cross it and had to walk back the same way instead of hiking a loop.
