A very pretty secluded beach on the north-east shore of Kauai with nice trees and plenty of beach-combing – this is Larsen’s Beach.
However, it wasn’t that easy to find. You have to take a small road off the main highway close to mile marker 20 and then another unpaved road towards the ocean. From there it is a 5-10 minute hike down to the beach.
Yesterday was very windy with high surf, therefore we could not go into the water. But this beach is said to be a beautiful snorkeling spot when the weather is nice and the sea is calm. Maybe we come back another time…
Very cool, fine coral
