Yesterday we walked the Awaawapuhi Trail in Koke’e State Park. We really enjoyed this hike although about half way in we hit a cloud bank which accompanied us to the end of the trail and thus we did not have great views of the Na Pali Coast and the lusciously green Awaawapuhi Valley and Nualolo Valley.
We promised ourselves to hike in this area again when the weather is nicer to be able to enjoy the supposedly spectacular views. Will keep you posted.
Unfortunately no views 😦
Nice red moss on a tree
View on the way back on 550 to Waimea (Puu Hinahina Lookout)
